I think the phrase 'war on terror' does sound a bit pessermistic, but its nothing worth fussing about.

They need to find the President something easier to pronounce. I'm sure they'd love to keep it, but Republicans can't bear being laughed at, so it has to go.

"The global struggle against the enemies of freedom" is a bit mouthful for Geogre W.

Wouldn't "Christian crusade" be zippier and easier for him to remember?

It is also more accurate, as no clear link between the war and freedom has been established.
