Regarding your post:
A) Pollution and global warming aren't the same thing. Pollution like vehicle emissions contribute to global warming. Air pollution may have cleared up in some parts of the world but that's not the same as global temperatures decreasing.
B) Scientists have been saying we need to reverse course as far as global warming, not that we can't.
