@metal-brain saidGood grief.
Hurricanes cannot form without condensation as well as evaporation. Both are required. If air rises and it stays up there no cycle happens. No cycle, no hurricane. That is the science. Stop being a science denier.
Did you go to school?
Evaporation… goes… up… yes.
There it meets… go on… colder air…. yes.
What do you get… clouds… yes…
So, you’re nearly there.
What is the planet famous for?
Mhmmm… turning? Yes!
So, the turning draws in clouds from one hemisphere to the rear and one from the front, creating the spinning motion of clouds which we call… yes!
So, when the sea heats up you get more evaporation. That means more condensation (which we’ll convientley call clouds, because it’s easier to spell when using a mobile phone) when it reaches the colder air up in the sky.
The Earth’s motion remains the same, more clouds mean more rain. Warmer air below (by warmer seas) mean a greater difference in air pressures (with the colder air above where the clouds are) which means more violence.
More violence with more rain in a spinning motion is… yes… nearly there old chap, keep the gears turning…
@metal-brain saidDeadliest means nothing.
What was the deadliest hurricane and when did it happen?
And a one or two times something happening isn’t a pattern. And doesn’t mean anything when looking at patterns.
Just because the nuclear bomb on Hiroshima was the deadliest nuclear blast ever, says nothing about the nuclear capabilities we have now.
@shavixmir saidEvaporation alone does not form hurricanes. If it did there would be endless hurricanes anywhere there is warm water. That is not the case. That is because a great contrast in temperatures is not always there. The contrast in temps is what fuels a hurricane.
Good grief.

Common sense.
@shavixmir saidAre you claiming that there is no correlation between strong storms and deadly storms?

Speaking of patterns, show me a pattern of stronger storms as the earth became warmer. I am waiting.
@metal-brain saidThat is nearly exactly what I said. You are getting there.

Now, add more water and a greater difference in Sea temperature and high atmospheric temperature together…
See?

There you go.
@shavixmir saidSo you agree with me after all?
That is nearly exactly what I said. You are getting there.

What are we debating? Were you just pretending to disagree with me?
@shavixmir saidThat website is bunk. It doesn't even give their source because they don't have one.

Provide a peer reviewed article from a respected science journal.

I would like to see if that is true.

-Removed-Do you know how much CO2 is in our atmosphere at this time?
Less than 0.05%
The assertion that puny amount can make a big difference is stupid. Add to that the fact that Maurice Strong is the prime example of a person from big oil and none of your conspiracy theories about big oil denying global warming make any sense.
A big oil man started the global warming movement. Let that sink in for while.
@metal-brain saidI thought we were trying to separate myths from facts here. Probably not productive to call people fools for trying to contribute without clarifying any of your remarks.
You are a fool.
Where do you get that absurd rubbish from?
Here's a yes or no question. No name calling. Please answer yes or no.
Good or bad, do you think that our climate can be modified by human activity?
