Should der schwarze Ritter move global warming activities to the science forum?

Is it science? Science is probably our best method of finding answers about many questions related to global warming - by use of the hypothesis and testing of scientific method.

Or are Ritter's activities more a debating style? Focussing on use of emotional persuasion?

Is it science?

Or are Ritter's activities just debate?
I think there's enough scepticism to categorise it as debate

But don't scientific debates also belong in the science forum? The description of that forum seems to suggest they do.

the root causes of this the global warming debate's presence on the debate forum are not science topics. haves vs have nots, yanks vs euroweenies, greenies vs humvee owners, etc etc etc.

The Global warming debate is not about science. It’s about socialism.

Global warming can belong in both forums ...
When global warming is debated it belongs in the debates forum.
When the science of global warming is discussed it belongs in the science forum.
My understanding is that science and debates are two different methods of dealing with people's conflicting understanding of issues:
debates involve people trying to win the moment with their arguement, winning the moment against the truth is seen as genius;
science is humanity's overall progress in uncovering the "truth", to try to predict what history will look like in 100 years time, winning the moment but not history is seen as fraud.

site idea: clone all GW threads to both forums.
