Ever since traditional 2D animation died, and everything is a bunch
of geeks doing 3D stuff with the help of tons of servers, animation
does not interest me.

'Totoro' is the last masterpiece.

from it's wiki page, Tororo looks a lot like Pokemon.

Dude, you are seriously lost in animation matters.

Get Totoro... it's pure art from, and check out Nausica as well...
the magic of storytelling with gorgeous animation by hand,
not by mouse, and MOST IMPORTANT: Respect for the art form,
not commercial effectism based on what could be marketed or
made a videogame after.

Please do not confuse Miyazaki's work with dragonball, pokemon animé 🙂

Or the hall in which Belle and the Beast dance... or when the
panther cave opens for Aladin, etc. etc.

I know, really nice, but 3D should remain as backup, as support for
the REAL art by hand, not as front singer... well, that is just MY taste
and personal opinion, mate

🙂

Perhaps I feel strongly about it since my brother is a 2D animator 🙂

France has a lot going for it besides disney/pixars latest flick...
Of course there's the food, the beautiful women, (French is a VERY sexy language as well) the wine (about €5 will get you a good bottle, but for 80c you can get it in a plastic bottle, but don't drink that) Laughing at their men who take themselves far too seriously. The fact that an Irish accent is considered sexy. I never thought the Irish would be seen as exotic, but every dog has their day I suppose.
Posters of naked people everywhere advertising everything from shoes to suncream.
Topless women on childrens afternoon TV (Yes, I have watched childrens programs, it was research ok?)
Ah, the coffee on a Sunday morning...
