I'm not attacking trump. I'm saying the Republicans have no ideas on how to fix societal problems. They only want to identify them and blame others for them and make their base angry at other americans. It's an extremely toxic ideology and I hope they all get voted out and replaced by real conservatives.

Democrats might have bad ideas but at least they are putting effort into fixing things.
Both sides play them blame game. When one sides wants to protect the authenticity of elections by requiring a piece of identification, the other side claims it is the unravelling of democracy. When the other side wants people to prove they are vaccinated to safely enter a place, the other side claims their health, safety and freedom is being abridged.

quack - I don't often agree with you, but you're right on with this one. Thumbs for that. 🙂

Repubs have no idea ?? You imply that Biden does? Don't mean to get ahead of you.

The authenticity of an election is a valid goal. But when the problem is one sided and the result is assumed before the voting even takes place, there is a problem.
If there is a gap in the voting process, then the logical outcome is that both parties would be affected by the gaps.
If the gap is pre-emptively labelled as a fraud that adversely affects only one party, then that is a dog whistle intended to create civil unrest.

Note that the non-biz fellows here never comment on the effect that the dems are about to rain down on the economy. BTW, It is $5.5T, not $3.5T. You are being bamboozled!! I am somewhat of a quasi-socialist already, playing both sides, so I won't be too killed, nor will the parasitic sorts who will live under the rule of the socialists, they will be made comfortable. Others will just fall in between, I 'spect.
You are also being bamboozled. You draw a distinction in the spending habits of D's and R's where there isn't one.

Sure, obviously, they're all hypocrites. One of the parties just happens to be more serious about actual governance. I mean, the constant complaining about Obama's spending while the deficit was being steadily reduced year over year and then we thought, 'hey let's put Republicans in there, they'll get the spending under control." First 2 years in office, with a congressional majority, a roaring economy and no wars, and they vastly expand the nanny state Obama budgets for no reason. Not a peep from conservatives. Why were they spending all that cash? Did they actually think Obama wasn't spending enough taxpayer money all along?

Look at this graph, deficits only increase when Republicans are president, yet they pretend it's the exact opposite.

Honest GOP stump speech:

"I may talk a big game about reining in Washington but when I get there I'm going to hand a bunch of YOUR money away for free. And I may think we let too many illegals into this country and even say I want to do something about it but once I'm in a position of authority I'm going to let them in. On voter fraud, yeah, same thing. All elections are rigged but I won't do anything about it. Really I'm just going to give away money to people who don't need the money and bail out the businesses that can't make competitive products. Oh, and I'm going to whine a lot about how everything I didn't do is someone elses fault."

JMHO - No better than 50/50.

The good news for the GOP is they have history on their side, since the party on power tends to lose congressional seats in midterm elections, also, Joe Biden's approval rating has taken a hit since the American troop withdrawal in Afghanistan, and Democrats historically low voter turnout habits in midterm elections. The bad news: Donald J Trum ...[text shortened]...
Yes - The GOP could win back control of Congress, but I wouldn't bet the ranch on it.

Thoughts?
It's way too early to make meaningful predictions about the 2022 elections. 14 months is an eternity in US politics.
