Is the GOP going to shut down the government whenever they don't get their way? If so, what's going to become of our system of government? Thoughts?...😕

Nobody wants to shut it down. They want to take it over.

The system is self-correcting, although this is only true on the large scale, from the Earth's POV. And we are just the current inhabitants.

Who are they? If they are elected representatives then by your own premise have they not already taken over the government?
