I think "commie" is a funny word:

In the U.S. connotation, it denotes a slothful laggard who reads the Scottish Socialist Voice, smokes cigarettes, drinks coffee and bad mouths the United States instead of working.

In the RHP connotation, it denotes someone who thinks they know what's best for the rest of us and has no reservations about te ...[text shortened]... en though they don't have the skills or life experience to know what they are talking about.

Either "hypotenuse" or "sphere." Just fun words to say.

A few years ago, the newsreader of the Dutch news announced that at the end of that broadcast a special guest would say a word that was never used before in a (Dutch) news broadcast. I had no idea what this word could be.

Winkle-pickers, brothel creepers, dicknailed, Kodiak, chest hams, hemorrhoids and ninnyhammer are all good, funny words, however, in my opinion, nothing beats "scrotum" as the all-time funniest word.
