should hamas leaders be charged?

should they be charged with causing this famine?

should they be charged with using women and children as human shields?
I'm sure the ICJ will charge them, too.

They didn't cause the famine, so they won't be charged with that.

Neither will they be charged with not assembling in neat rows in open areas so Israel could more easily bomb them.

You keep talking about the ICJ as if they can do anything. That has to be the most useless international body in the world. They found Putin guilty of war crimes and he just laughed at them. In any case in the recent case against Netanyahu, there was no justification that genocide was being committed and yet fools like you keep referring to it as genocide. In the event they do find any one in israel guilty of war crimes the end result will be the same. The ICJ is just a useless body that appeals only to Jew-haters like you.

I will respond once and only once to your hate filled screeching and ridiculous accusations:

GFY.

"The head of the United Nations World Food Program says northern Gaza has entered “full-blown famine” after nearly seven months of war between Israel and Hamas. But a formal, and highly sensitive, famine declaration faces the complications of politics and of confirming how many people have died.

Cindy McCain in an NBC interview broadcast Sunday said severe Israeli restrictions on humanitarian deliveries to the territory that has long relied on outside food assistance have pushed civilians in the most isolated, devastated part of Gaza over the brink. Famine was now moving south in Gaza, she said."

As usual the Jew-haters, and terrorist supporters, must resort to obscenities. When your argument is lame and facts are lacking, there is nothing left in your brain but obscene language.

They were dancing in the streets on October 8th after they raped and killed 1400 Jews and kidnapped 250 of them.

Maybe someone could explain to me how cheering for the mass death of an ethnic group by starvation doesn't violate RHP's Posting Guidelines to wit:

"Hate speech is not permitted. Content promoting violence or hatred against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, caste, sex, gender, gender identity and serious disease or disability is forbidden."

Who is cheering? Nobody here. The Gazans were cheering Hamas on and celebrating. I am commenting and recognising that the have wanted the death of Jews for the last 75 years, and there is a price to pay for their terrorism, their raping of women and children.

"Today, (Monday, 22.2.2024) Israeli human rights group B’Tselem is issuing a new position paper, Manufacturing Famine. The organization concludes, based on various reports from international bodies about the situation in Gaza and on testimonies gathered by B'Tselem's field researchers, that for months, Israel has been committing the crime of starvation under international law in the Gaza Strip.

The severe hunger that has developed over recent months in the Gaza Strip is not a result of fate, but the product of a deliberate and conscious Israeli policy. It has been openly declared by decision makers, including a member of the Israeli war cabinet, from the very beginning of the war. In the document, B’Tselem reviews the current scale of the hunger crisis in the Gaza Strip, its short and long term impacts, Israel’s conduct with respect to this issue and the legal implications of this conduct. We rely on the most recent figures and data available.

Reducing masses to begging for food and using starvation as a method warfare requires utter dehumanization. Sadly, the dehumanization of Palestinians in Israeli society has accelerated in recent months."

What a load of rubbish and fantasy.
Uh… it’s factual.

“security measures”
that is laughable

So wash rinse repeat is your suggestion? would it be if you were an Israeli?
My suggestion is to not fall asleep at the switch next time. The government got too busy fighting about judicial reform and societal issues and underestimated Hamas. If a bear gets into your yard and mauls your kid, sure you might shoot the bear, but then you have to go back and build a better fence. Going out and killing all the bears is not possible. Similarly, Israel can't neutralize all of its enemies. It's impossible. There are too many of them.

And, of course, to try to make a long term deal that brings real peace, if that's possible.

"Bin Laden and al Qaeda violently opposed the United States for several reasons. First, the United States was regarded as an 'infidel' because it was not governed in a manner consistent with the group's extremist interpretation of Islam.

"Second, the United States was viewed as providing essential support for other 'infidel' governments and institutions, particularly the governments of Saudi Arabia and Egypt, the nation of Israel, and the United Nations organization, which were regarded as enemies of the group.

"Third, al Qaeda opposed the involvement of the United States armed forces in the Gulf War in 1991 and in Operation Restore Hope in Somalia in 1992 and 1993. In particular, al Qaeda opposed the continued presence of American military forces in Saudi Arabia (and elsewhere on the Saudi Arabian peninsula) following the Gulf War.

"Fourth, al Qaeda opposed the United States Government because of the arrest, conviction and imprisonment of persons belonging to al Qaeda or its affiliated terrorist groups or those with whom it worked.

"For these and other reasons, Bin Laden declared a jihad, or holy war, against the United States, which he has carried out through al Qaeda and its affiliated organizations."

So a bunch of things. Removing the dictator Saddam Hussein, though, was a good thing. No need to apologize for that.

Iraq finally seems to be on the right path after their bloody civil war, which we helped cause by removing Saddam, but without which I'm not sure there would ever have been progress towards a healthy democratic society.
