@contenchess saidMy grandfather died of smoking.(just imagine the stress)
My grandfather died during WW2
He died at a concentration camp.
He got drunk and fell off the guard tower. ๐
He was a bomber for the British.( who were at the ballpark early)
He would press the button to drop them on the Nazis.
@Executioner-Brand
So none of you are vets? I am Vietnam era vet. My cousin went through the Korean war and on his way home to us here in Covina California, his plane hit a mountain and he was decapitated. I was like ten or so and devastated.
So we had free breakfast at Perkins and across the street there is a car wash and this week they give vets free washes which I took advantage of.
I guess those once a year perks add up if you live long enough๐ It does kind of add indirectly to my $188/month paycheck back in the day...

What type of vet are you 2 say people shouldn't remember.
What was the crime of the Vietnamese?
@mott-the-hoople saiddon't use my pawns like picking cotton or it will be checkmate again mate.

@executioner-brand saidMore likely from a war they aren't allowed to win.
Funny when it's an unjust war like in Iraq soldiers hanging themselves is more common than combat deaths. But they brought democracy.
Korea, Vietnam, The wars in the Middle East.
Soldiers need to win and after WW2 they were told they can't kill everyone and everything.
Thus, they can't win.
Wars should be fought to conquer and destroy everyone and then you take the country.
Soldiers today are not allowed to do that so they fought for nothing.
That's why we see so many soldier suicides and endless wars that achieve nothing.
