Russia was the aggressor. They invaded a neighboring sovereign state. A neighboring sovereign state that they agreed to not be aggressive to, to get them to turn over their nuclear weapons.

What Biden is doing looks like a last ditch attempt to help Ukraine get some of its land back, before trump comes along and gives everything Russia is standing on to Putin.

As I’ve stated earlier in this thread, trump is going to force Ukraine to make a peace deal and Russia will be allowed to keep the land they’ve already invaded (that’s his plan anyways).
So, Biden wants to minimise the impact on Ukraine of such a decision.
