His REALLY stupid tariff war did something we never would have seen coming.

China, Japan AND South Korea now in a trade agreement.
GREAT GOING TRUMP.

It takes a lot to get those three countries talking to one another.

Europe and China are also considering increasing trade between them.

It does not matter if Trump can bully a handful of minor countries into reducing their tariffs on US goods, because what's going to happen is that world demand for US goods as a whole is going to plummet.

I honestly think the real reason behind the tariffs might just be to foment protests in the US so Trump can declare martial law, cancel elections, and become dictator for life. A Russian-style oligarchy would then be set up, with dissenters being poisoned with polonium or thrown out of high-rises on a regular basis.

Learn to read, or listen to your conscience which should guide you to speak the truth. The article you linked says no such thing. It did in fact say the opposite which is that there is no such trade agreement. Apparently there is a Chinese SM account that made these statements and when contacted, the Japanese and South Koreans said that those reports are false.

Here is the actual wording of the article :

When asked about the report, a spokesperson for South Korea's trade ministry said "the suggestion that there was a joint response to U.S. tariffs appears to have been somewhat exaggerated,"

Japan's Trade Minister Yoji Muto, when asked about it at a press conference on Tuesday, said there was a meeting of trade ministers at the weekend but there were no such discussions.

Seems to me that more lies, drama and misinformation comes out of the Anti-Trump crowd.

You were never this careful about facts when Biden was in office.

Funny that, huh?

Sounds pretty real to me.

You think Asian countries want cheap Asian products? 🤣

Middle class Asians which is a very large group, have developed a taste for European and American consumer goods. So the new US tariff will have a significant impact on their prices.

If Trump has caused you to lose your integrity, eg starting deceptive threads, and now digging in your heels and lying, then you are a weak man.

They look at the news of the day, being tariffs at the moment, and tie in any negative fake news that they can to put it all on Trump. Just anything.
The Biden ghoul caused 13 soldiers to be killed in his failed Afghan debacle, and seemed quite bored when his staff helped him to the tarmac when they were returned, dead.
Some soldiers were recently killed in an accident, and the simple-mnded debaters screamed Trump should attend the funeral. No golf!! No relaxation!! Why, they never complained about Biden-on-the-beach duriing times of turmoil. Their logic? If a guy is accidentally shot in his baracks at Fort Bragg, Trump needs to get down there!!!
Debates are really lacking in substance these days.

Note that NOT ONE lib will give his tariff gambit a chance. Not one. I am quite sure it will pay off, and we can at least watch how they will parse their posts. THAT will be some substance to enjoy. I figure they may go 'But what's in it for me!???!!?!?!?'"

You need a history lesson.
We have been through this BS before.
In 1930 we started a tariff war and it ended up in world wide depression AND a big part of what started world war 2.

How about presenting both sides of the story fairly. Maybe you dont know what that means. In this case European countries were imposing heavy tariffs on American goods since early 1900s. Again it was a reciprocal tariff. Nothing is unfair, neither is it BS, neither will it cause world depression or war.

Ohhhh. So our environment now, in 2025… is.. Oh, never mind. It is not 1930…It is a different world, and you, SonTrump, just cannot grasp that. FDR was a socialist, in case you did not know . Trump is a capitalist, which you DO know!
Oops, sorry everyone, I think I just lost SonTrump. He was sailing along comparing these two eras, and just [WORD TOO LONG]..that he CanNot compare then with now.
A Total moment… Look at the world today and think of what is the best thing that can be done. Should tariffs be the answer any longer,, since we have been on the short side of tariffs for decades?
SonTrump, , let us move this along. Should we have a revision of tariffs, or leave the imbalance of tariffs alone? Should we be Be the losers at tariffs?. I assume you say, fix the imbalance. So tell us a formula better than kick-ass formula in place. I would ask Trump to take another look at it, but y’all have him off at a funeral for someone who was killed in an accident. If someone else is killed in an accident, do you think we should send Trump to that as well? And finally, why will you not answer these questions?

Those that do not understand history are doomed to repeat it. A great man said that. George Santanaya from the book "the life of reason' 1905.

Of course, a great adage.......But we can hardly compare 1930 to today. You are in effect saying that we should compare two Entirely DIFFERENT scenarios.
Compare a poodle to a greyhound, man??
