I don’t comprehend why a high EQ would inhibit creativity.
The other points I agree with; to a certain extent.

Disproportionality in either EQ or IQ is probably not beneficial to an individual, as it probably narrows one’s possibilities on a general spectrum; forcing the person to specialise.

“ A concentration camp's ideal employee would have high EQ as long
as that EQ was directed toward other employees, not prisoners.”

How would that work though. Shoving people into gas chambers all day but making sure that John in cremations gets his signed birthday card on the right day. Are high EQ people really good at de compartmentalisation.
I’m not being flippant but I’m pretty sure a low EQ low IQ individual would be your ideal concentration camp worker with a group of low EQ high IQ officers at the helm.

I think if your working in a concentration camp you’ll suffer less emotional damage and stay functional longer if you have a low EQ. Your splitting hairs the purpose of a death camp is death on an industrial scale and it’s no place for a high EQ individual.
If your not talking about a death camp then you should make it clear what the purpose of the camp is before citing it as a place where a high EQ individual would be best suited.

Lol it’s just occurred to me, have you taken an EQ test recently and how did you score?

Well. I’d never heard of your correlation.
And the people I know with a higher EQ all tend to be very creative.

So, I took a wee moment or two to see what I could find.
And every single link, besides the one you’re reciting from, suggests that my feelings on this are correct.
Here’s a couple of examples:

https://www.oxford-review.com/emotional-intelligence-and-creativity/#find

https://www.google.nl/amp/s/www.psychologytoday.com/intl/blog/darwins-subterranean-world/201706/creativity-goes-emotional-intelligence%3famp

https://www.iidmglobal.com/expert_talk/expert-talk-categories/leadership/emotional_intelligence_thought_leader/2_29_1825.html

Since your link is the only one to suggest otherwise and considering my experiences with people with higher EQ’s and lower EQ’s, I think I will have to contradict your stance on this issue.

Again. You’re quoting from one source.
Every other source contradicts you.

You are being very weird here. Of course no ordinary right thinking individual would apply for a job of any capacity in a concentration camp.
Concentration camps are marmite duchess you either love them or hate them. Only a very disturbed individual would view them as a neutral career choice.
Just a reminder duchess but no one is taking notes.

Duchess you made the assertion that high EQ individuals would be better suited to working in concentrations camps as long as they somehow suppress the consequences of a high EQ when dealing with the inmates. That’s a nonsense IMO.

“ How does Kevcvs57 feel about the people who worked for British concentration camps in South Africa?
After the war, they returned to their 'respectable' lives in the UK (or elsewhere).”
They are scum if they volunteered to work in a concentration camp IMO. Why would I feel differently about a British run concentration camp.
I’m confused by your stance duchess. I can’t decide if your trying to discredit individuals with a high EQ or trying to sanitise the concept of the concentration camp.
