And expanding on that, there are all those (Freak thinks fake) satellites that come back to the same point above Earth every 90 odd minutes or so, polar and equatorial satellites both, Polar orbits take a few days to get to the same point because the Earth, er, Spins underneath them.

As a passenger, the earth may appear curved, but that is a result of the material used for the window spaces.
Any view from the cockpit tells a completely different story: straight and level as far as the eye can see.
Even further up with unmanned balloons, literally no curvature whatsoever.
There are two scenarios I'm which curvature appears evident: Go-Pro style cameras when in fish-eye mode and anything from NASA.
All other pictures reveal a level field forever.
