Maybe subsistence farming, but that's a tough life - very labor intensive. You need fertile land and good water. (Unless you are lucky enough to own a highly sought-after vineyard!)

Micro farms like that don't produce enough surplus to feed a modern country.

The average sized farm in the US is 463 acres, but we get good rain in many places. In SA farms are usually ...[text shortened]... igger - 2000 acres is considered a small amount of land to be farming because it tends to be dry. 😆
Oh .. excuse me. I thought the black South Africans were suffering. Apparently they are doing well. Good for them... go for the 2,000 acre farm. Lol. 😀

They had it better under apartheid than they do now.
They have destroyed the country.
The dream Mandela had is dead. If he only knew what is going on now in South Africa. It has been 35 years since apartheid ended and 30 years of ANC in power and the country is in a mess.

Ever heard of what happened after it went away?
Ever heard of what happened in the South after the slaves were freed?

Great, another Cliff-diculous statement.

AH, so you are black, and lived under apartheid. I did not know that.
