Almost every one I know, however, vehemently disagrees with some recent policies--many even disagree with some of the pet policies of the politicians they supported.
Confusing criticism of the current administration, or some aspect of American culture, with hatred of the US has become a terribly widespread error. But it remains an error in logic no matter how many believe it to be true.

They make us look weak, and chaotic.
Sure, they may just disagree with certain policies or actions. But I would like to say that there are probably thousands of people like the sixteen year old you speak of.
