That depends on where you are. My wife and I took the ferry to Victoria B.C. a few months back. Toured the Parliament building, went shopping at Trounce Alley (see YouTube link below) toured Anne Hathaway's recreated home, and went to a play - a British political comedy called Move Over Mrs. Markum. It was a little bit of London only a ferry ride away. The Canadian customs authorities were very polite. Was it a big deal? I suppose so, but it was a nice trip, nonetheless. 🙂
