If I saw someone drop a £5 note, I would give it back 90% of the time

If I saw someone drop a £10 note, I would give it back 85% of the time

If I saw someone drop a £50 note, I would give it back 20% of the time

If I am given too much change in a shop, I am out like lightening 99.99999% of the time

Any other offers?

Too much change in a shop, I always say so immediately.

I once found 50 quid in the street in St.Albans, U.K. - I was about 17 years old. I handed it in at the police station. A month later they contacted me and said that, as no one had claimed it, it was mine to collect. Which I did. I immediately went and bought a pair of wicketkeeping gloves. I like to think that some of the magnificent catches I subsequently took were pure karma.

Once, in Papua, I was erroneously creditted with cash amounting to about a month's wages (which was about $150 at that time). I looked in my bank book, saw it, and left the bank. I fretted about it for a few hours and then went back to tell them they had made an error. As I opened my mouth to say so, the cashier told me that they had made a mistake and deposited too much money in my account. He gave me a look as if to say, 'you must have known, why didn't you say? hoping to get away with it were you?'

I am pretty much always honest about money because I hate moments like that.

Same goes for me, however, there is only a 20% chance of that.

If I saw someone drop any money I'd take 100% of it.

I'd see it as a gift from God.

If I liked the shopkeeper I would give it back (I have done so before)
but if it was a big store I would exit fast. I reckon it is fair given the number of times I have been short-changed, often deliberately.
I once found a wallet on a train and called the owner to tell him, he sent me a case of wine.

If I saw someone drop a pound note I would wonder why they were carrying pounds in Finland.

The only time when I consciously didn't hand the extra change back was because the guy had been a complete a.hole. Zero remorse.

Do you consider that your honesty is based upon your opinion of others
or your opinion of yourself?

I whould probably keep anything that I find (money ,watches, diferent items) ,wallets are a diferent thing , I always return them .

I once found a digital camera on the street , never had one so I said to myself "there is a good uportunity to explore new fields " . I never regreted taking it because I found a new pashion , got a great job that I love and met my wife at a photo exposey I held .

So if u find something keep it .
As any MMORPG player whould say :"A drop is a drop".

Sorry for the bad english 😛 peace
