Yes, it comes from the seating in the French National Assembly in 1789. The ones supporting democracy and progress seated themselves to the Left and the ones supporting monarchy and repression of the People seated themselves to the Right. https://www.history.com/news/how-did-the-political-labels-left-wing-and-right-wing-originate

Not much has changed in 232 years; the Right still opposes democracy and the People's rights.

No, the left doesn't "imply" stuff, we just say it, because you know, the truth? It's important to us, that why we could not abide Trump lying multiple times a day, every day of his life. I know you guys think lying is so cool, because Trump did it so much, so it must be acceptable, right? Wrong.

So get this straight: if we want to say something, we say it, we don"t "imply". I know this renders you unable to lie about what we said, but hey, too bad.
