I’m basing this opinion on the response in Gaza which is obviously now way beyond proportionate, but is driven by what they feel is an existential threat, I.e. Hamas and the pro Hamas Palestinians/Arabs. Iran and it’s allies want Israel wiped out as a nation and a people. It’s obvious what this one rocket is supposed to do, trigger retaliation from Israel and eventually all out conventional war. The Iranians/ Hezbollah seem to have no idea what will happen if they continue on this course of action.

a group of people (muslims) have vowed to extinguish Jews and Israel. Iran has done the same and are in fact doing this attacking.
They have been attacking since the beginning of time. Most recently these islamist murders over 12 hundred children at a concert by flying in with para-gliders with rifles shooting indiscriminately intending to kill as many as they could. They still hold many hostages.
I want you to tell me what "proportionate" is?
