At this point in Iraq, the thing US Soldiers are defending is their lives.
I agreed with the Iraq War when it started, but even i'll admit things have gone terrible. Not finding WMD's, a near instentanious-insurgency, the only way any country in the world can hope to defeat the United States in war (in the polls), prisoner abuse scandals.
Waiting for the people with their heads up their ass who aren't doing the job right to SUDDENLy start doing it right probably isn't going to work. I caught a clip on tv of one of the Joint Cheifs of Staff telling John McCain he had no idea what was going on in Iraq because it wasn't Vietnam.
I don't know about you, but i think the best people to ask about what to do in Iraq are people who survived Vietnam. Specifically Special Forces, Green Berets + Psy Warfare, who understand better than anyone what it takes to train indigenious forces to fight their own battles.
