After spending millions of dollars on commercials and consultants and thousands of hours urging voters to elect them president, one question remains: How will John McCain and Barack Obama spend Election Day?
Very differently, it seems.
Expect to find Obama on a basketball court at some point. During the Democratic primaries, he discovered that hoops and his political fortunes seemed intertwined.
"We realized that we had played basketball before (winning) Iowa and before South Carolina. We didn't play basketball before (losing) New Hampshire and Nevada. And so now, we've made a clear rule that on Election Day, I have to play basketball," Obama told 60 Minutes earlier this year.
McCain is even more superstitious.
He watches a movie before votes are counted and may well be hoarding several good luck charms.
Over the years, he has toted a feather, a penny, a compass, tribal stones, rubber shoes and a bicentennial quarter. He will have his lucky friend, Steve Dart, who has been with him on every Election Day since 1982, at his side on Nov. 4 and won't put a hat on a bed.

Whats the point of this? They both are superstitious... so what!
The point is McCain is much more so than Obama. Do we really want a guy who believes in luck for good things to happen? No. We want real intelligence, solutions, not pseudo-science.

I have friends who are brilliant and talented... and ridiculously superstitious. One does not affect the other.
Obama's basketball games could be his ritual for his superstition and he could have others we know nothing about.
Both men are equally brilliant and I believe worthy candidates.

Perhaps what you mean is the totalitarian communism practised by the soviets ruins lives and is untenable.

and enacting a socialistic policy? What could be more Marxist than governmental support of
failed businesses?! I mean, which is worse: using tax dollars to help those buy food or bailing out
super-rich businessmen who ran their businesses into crippling bankruptcy?
Your answer? I know, I know: 'Whichever one the Democrats are currently supporting.'

Most of my friends are european. And they are all selfish. The economies are GREAT (well, up until recently I suspect). They work and have fun. Kids ruin this. Its a lifestyle catching on. This has nothing to do with socialism.
