How the UN are hindered by the Veto

Check out the history of vetoes. It seems to me that the u.s. are trying to kill the UN from the inside, by vetoing any meaningful resolution. Is it little wonder that most of the people in the middle east (and South America) believe that america is their enemy when the u.s. veto any resolution critical of Israel, even after Israel have massacred hundreds of civilians, time and time again.

I believe the principal behind the UN to be the best chance of peace and international assistance in the world.

Of course, it is run by humans and risks human failings.

Rather than ignore or belittle the UN, we should work together to improve it.

America appears to do the opposite.
