Activists can force rightful change, which American policing surely needs. It is long overdue.

But an organized effort could make a big difference. "What if" - we had a #METOOTOO where people could tell their stories of being abused by police. Could this work?

I think that making it public how many times a particular police officer has had a "police brutality" complaint filed with the local DA has happened would be a pressure point that will make police think twice before they unjustly and brutally beat a man. Such police with many complaints should be identified and the police chief urged to clear that officer off its ranks.

Enough of tyrannical reign !

Good idea, but #ME TOO should do!

The more stories are told the better.

There are so many untold stories out there.

If police are such tyrants then why is it they put up with people like this?

If they were tyrants the guy in the video would have disappeared a long time ago.

Excellent idea that’s the very least that should come out of this.
If data is to be accessible to the public there would need to be some sort of blind to protect the identity and address of the officer’s involved who will have innocent family members.
But the ombudsman type authority or local commission could cross reference to make sure appropriate action was taken to protect the community from these officers.
But #badcop is another option to save any confusion.

Yup, that's fine. What do they call this, doxing? First time I have ever been in favor of it.

Yup found ‘dox’ on google that’s what it is. Would just need a personal number for publishing individual cops stats that could only be cross referenced by a secure internal system.

A-hole citizen but why did the cops have to engage with him for so long?
"Good day Sir" and back in the car would have been more appropriate.
