Factoid: Hunter Biden may have committed a felony by reportedly stating that he is not addicted to drugs on a gun background check.
This means that he will spend 10 years in jail and pay a $250K fine. These are facts, probably no reason to respond to posts of pure fact, we just sit back and watch the fireworks. Certainly he cannot avoid this punishment.
@AverageJoe1
Another Factoid: Personal income fell 7.1% in February. I wonder why. Hmmmm And at the same time gas is up about 25%. Ouch.
@averagejoe1 saidJoe, it may be a fact that Hunter was truly caught breaking the law. But let's not forget... he is a SPECIAL one.

Same white-washing as Hilary Clinton. "I see... nuh-THING"
I'll bet ya even money. I say no prison/jail time served.
@AverageJoe1
Hunter was given a commission in the Navy and also had to have sworn he has never done illegal drugs, etc. Thirty days after induction he tested positive for cocaine and was kicked out.
Thirty...days.......quite a military career.
@dood111 saidHuge swathes of the US are addicted to opiates legally obtained or illegally obtained, how many of these legal addicts have had their gun licence revoked.

Wow: a young man in uniform tests positive for cocaine, it’s obviously the end of civilisation as we know it 😟
@averagejoe1 saidHe "may" have committed a felony by "reportedly" saying he isn't "addicted" to drugs.

Sure sounds like an airtight case, Joe.
@averagejoe1 saidThen can we have more facts and less "Judge Jeanine"?
Kev, you never cease to amaze. This thread is about Hunter. Jesus.
@no1marauder saidSaw it on CNN, was convinced, given his past history. We shall see. He lied on the application, you know. Therein is the fact. We shall see.

Hey, what is it with Kev who never knows what a thread is about?
@averagejoe1 saidNo, it isn't a "fact" he lied on the application unless you have some proof he was using or addicted to drugs when he made the declaration in 2018.

Got any?
EDIT: "POLITICO obtained copies of the Firearms Transaction Record and a receipt for the gun dated Oct. 12, 2018.
Hunter responded “no” to a question on the transaction record that asks, “Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?” Five years earlier, he had been discharged from the Navy Reserve after testing positive for cocaine, and he and family members have spoken about his history of drug use."

@no1marauder saidOK, you may be right, I am certainly not going to spend my time looking him up, Could be wrong, of course, looks like fact to me, it will be out soon enough, I will submit to eating crow. You have good points, but a guy like me who does do research could prob find similar points going the other way.

Actually, this post is a good example of why posts need to be factual, which is what I am trying to do these days. I may have violated my own principles!!
@averagejoe1 saidWell, I remembered 'history' on my computer, and found my source! See attached, 3rd para. What I read was ."...form asking if he was an unlawful user of, addicted to...etc". https://thefederalist.com/2021/03/25/report-hunter-biden-may-have-lied-on-federal-background-check-form-to-purchase-a-gun/

Well, he was. An unlawful user of. He checked 'No'. So, I stand by my fact. You will have to chase after another idea on this one. It may be that he is totally exonerated, but at this moment, I am reading the Federalist, which is a bit reliable. Where else we gonna get facts?
@AverageJoe1
If he gets charged and convicted he gets convicted and maybe goes to jail but you are clearly trying to be judge jury and executioner all in one.
What is that phrase:
Innocent till proven guilty?
I guess if the charge comes from a Fox news talking head, Send him to JAIL IMMEDIATELY to serve his 20 years.
Meanwhile, where are your tears for the crimes of Trump?
And for the four members of his former cabinet now being charged with corruption.
But hey, NONE of that matters does it? You want to execute HUNTER.
