What we don't know after a five year investigation, even though it was kind of a double standard, what about the money laundering, wire fraud, influence peddling, unregistered lobbying, and what about the Burisma bribery scandal?. The Hunter nonsense is of little interest to anyone apart from Republican apparatchiks bent on dredging up anything that could be used to hurt his father.
But the fact is Hunter is not president, nor does he have any consequential influence on any aspect of the Biden administration's policies. Therefore this all amounts to, at best, the attempted assigning of guilt to a president by mere association. If anything this eternal flap over the president's kid indicates that right-wingers can't find any credible dirt on the president himself. It makes me chuckle.
We would all be in trouble if we were answerable for the mischief of loser relatives, including grown children.

That is the ONLY reason Hunter is under attack.
BTW, he paid his tax bills, some million dollars but he didn't do it on time. THAT is why he was in trouble.
And that is why he got probation.
