To cynically make a political point out of a potentially tragic situation, I imagine the federal response to Matthew should be very strong, at least in Florida, with the election a few weeks away. Ironic that Sandy (the last storm of this magnitude to affect the US) happened right before the 2012 election. Obama probably arranged both storms.
