"I am chief law officer of the US" Trump.

The right invented TDS to dismiss analysis of Trump’s autocratic tendencies, compulsive lying and detestable character as liberal hysteria. It's only used by those conservatives who don’t want to engage with substantive criticism of their leader, a thought-terminating cliche.

You talkin' to me? To me, the KING you mention is actually the conglomerate of millions of government dependents who want to tell Trump to leave their government alone!
(I think I said that right).

PS: Dont fkorget to tell us who should look into the DOJ. Or you can tell us that their 4 years was all honest and above board.
That was about Moot the Hoot not you.

Can't resist...Trump IS picking up the pieces, you silly girl. If Sonhouse will get out of his way, then he can get on with it.
You mean picking up the pieces of the government he already destroyed.

@sonhouse said
Yeah, you are SO credible, you WANT a king, a REAL king who is THE authority over all of us, no freedom of press, no freedom to protest. Yep, just what our forefathers wanted.
No, we just want a real president, not a senile drooling brain dead jizzball like Biden, who let aides use autopen to sign whatever bill they wanted into law while he hid from the public and thought Obama was still the president..

Cliff.......he didn't 'let' anybody do anything. You give too much credit.

Well you can forget Trump being a real president, he doesn't give a rats ass as to the plight of common folk, his actions have proven it TIME AND TIME AGAIN.
Like the tariff wars, the stock market dropping more than ten percent in what, a WEEK? Two weeks? Trump is a wish washie coward and a traitor AND convicted felon. But of course for YOU and all the REST of the asssholes who think Trump is great, you can't IMAGINE Trump could possibly have committed ANY crime.
That just shows how FUUKING BLIND you all are.
Besides Trump with his head firmly up Putin's ass, Russia, you can do whatever the HELL you want. I bet you didn't even HEAR that POS statement from your Lord Trump because it would have never have been shown on Faux News or NewsMax or bratfart.

The only real tool we have to remove a sitting president is impeachment, and then only if the House and the Senate agree.
There is a provision in the U.S. Constitution to remove a president who is unable to discharge the duties of his office. Either the president himself must declare this in writing, or "the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide" do so in writing to the President pro Temp. of the Senate and the Speaker of the House -- the latter is a little vague, but conceivable that 'adults in the room' could muster it, if Trump were to go even wackier than he already is (if, for example, he should be caught red-handed giving away military secrets to the Russians, which I consider quite possible in Trump's case).

Not sure, exactly, how your system works but we here in Canada have a way of, with cooperation from other parties to have a vote of non confidence in the governing party which could cause there to be an early election. This is very likely to occur here in the next little while, though the gap between the ruling Liberals and the Conservatives has lessened by a lot since the change in the leadership of the Liberal party.
INDEED!~! I am so happy our government is set up so much differently than the U.S.
Right now King Trump owns the 3 houses and the supreme court has judges he put in by one I believe, someone can correct me if I am not correct on that one.
We don't want to become the 51rst state and a good percentage of Americans agree, 37% said in a Poll that only if Canada wanted to.
King Trump just blowing a lot of hot air as usual.
How Generous of King Trump to let us keep our National Anthem! ๐Ÿ˜€ Should we bow and kiss the ring?? I think NOT!@!

Politics hasn't been this simple in a long time: do you think it's good for one person to have unchecked, arbitrary power or not? Those are the two available ideologies right now.

who has "unchecked, arbitrary power"?

you libs lie and then want to debate as if it is true.

"When someone is president the authority is total. And that's the way it's got to be. It's total."

Hey if Trump is Chief Law Officer can he also deputize as sheriff???

Does that mean he has the power to order people out of DOGE?

Elon should be quaking in his boots.

Well, I did say that impeachment is the only 'real' tool we have to remove a sitting president because it is unrealistic to imagine someone IN Trump's inner circle claiming he's unfit for office, even though he IS unfit. No one has an actual spine.

@Great-Big-Stees said
So if enough of the Republicans, in both houses, see that, maybe, your President is…well needs removing. There may still be hope for the rest of the “free world” too.๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ˜
Yeah, and if I thought there were enough Republicans in Congress to vote that way, I might as well flap my wings and fly to the moon, too.

Trump has at most another year and a half and a bit; the reckoning will come at mid-term elections for the House. If the people who voted for the price of eggs the first time vote again for the price of eggs, the GOP will loose the House; if they vote for principles this time, the GOP will loose the House. That means that sycophant Johnson will be out of the Speaker's role, and some semblance of separation of powers will be restored -- still a long ways to go, though, for Congress to stand up for itself.
