It was a blackmail scam. The reason his taxes remained secret is because he was an obedient puppet. He got you to support censorship, didn't he? It was all planned that way. He helped the parasitic elites make election fraud claims illegal. Now any protest against election fraud is an insurrection and therefore illegal.
You helped Trump accomplish that. When they censor democrats and it makes you furious, remember you helped it happen. The parasitic elites used your partisan bias against you so you would destroy free speech. Trump was in on it.

But now we have 4 republican presidents in a row who have massively increased deficits and the two democratic ones in between both reducing deficits by a large margin. I don't think it's a good idea that we owe more than our GDP.
It was more than just Reagan. Deficit spending is the norm.
The USA can endure more deficit spending than usual due to arrangements with other countries. When Saudi Arabia sells oil for dollars they use those dollars to buy US treasury bonds. The US has the same arrangement with China. When they sell stuff to the US they use those dollars to buy US treasury bonds. That helps prop up the US dollar and deficit spending isn't as much of a problem because of that.
