I think it very telling that no one here has mentioned the demise of Puerto Rico and the recent political deal Obama and company made with them to prop them up a bit longer.
I think that it is an indication of just how normal this sort of thing is these days. No longer do failing institutions get any press when they are propped up for a future fall by money that is printed out of thin air. Instead, we just blindly accept it as normal.
I think the UK senses that the end is near, which is why they pulled out of another failing economic arrangement.
So what will the final outcome be? When will the world economy finally go belly up and what will come out of the ashes?
