If China Takes Over Taiwan

If China Takes Over Taiwan

Debates

We've decided not to answer a liar who twists other people's words?

(just hazarding a guess)
But all I did was ask everyone, if they had to choose between those two countries, which would they choose?
Why do you find fault with me or my question? Why am I asked just above to maybe change the countries? Why?
I would choose life in Taiwan. Is there anyone who would choose life in China?
And what lie and what 'twist of words'.?

Let us debate it, for sure. I have a lot of thoughts myself.
But, please answer this....would. you rather live in Taiwan or in China? After we tally it all up, I will next ask....Why? Why does one draw you more than the other??
China. Better scenery.

@AverageJoe1 of course I pick Taiwan. You seem to think liberals like the Chinese form of government. You display your ignorance everytime you post.

Well, yes I do. Pure Freedom, or Nanny state where you get free stuff. You know exactly what mean. Zahlanzi posts are the most typical of this mindset. Also Marauder, who is marxist and thinks we would all be better off with big government. So, does does that mean that China control would be good for Taiwan? Marauder wants the USA to be socialist, so it follows that he would want Taiwan to suffer the same fate.
Note how none of you commented or voted on the side of freedom.

Reasons irrelevant, we have a vote from MG!!!! He would rather live in Taiwan than in China.
Lord, don't do reasons, imagine the ones that Sonhouse or the jester will come up with, not that they would be relevant.

Why? Why? What is going on ?
Stop asking stupid questions.
I told you my choice between China and US which is really the comparison that should be made.
Or are you just scared of all the Trump and GOP fiascos that will land in your lap ?

Yes,, I did notice how you changed the subjects of my post. I think I will do it myself, all in good humor, on your next post.

Taiwan is China.

After years of warming relations, the US established formal diplomatic ties with Beijing in 1979 under President Jimmy Carter. As a result the US had to sever ties with Taiwan and closed its Taipei embassy.

But that same year it also passed the Taiwan Relations Act, which guarantees support for the island. Crucially, this act states that the US must help Taiwan defend itself - which is why the US continues to sell arms to Taiwan. The US has also said it insists on the peaceful resolution of differences between the two sides and encourages both sides to pursue "constructive dialogue".

Taiwan is China.
In a way.

The continental Han dictatorship should be reformed, and be given a democratic government as part of the nation of China, currently ruled only on the island of Taiwan.

Taiwan should not be mass-murdered, as Hong Kong, Tibet, and the Uygur nation are being, under the terror of the Han dictatorship.
