It's because ICE is too big to fail. They pumped over $100 billion into an agency that had no idea what it was doing or how to do it. They are fast tracking training and sending them with lethal weapons to suburban neighborhoods where kids ride scooters to school. If the word gets out that they're killing the soccer moms because they smirked at them and the officer got offended, then the signature program of the administration would be busted.
