You're a couple of centuries out of date with this "patriarch" BS; it's pretty atypical in the 21st century US of A for daddy to have any control of their adult children's finances, nevermind his brother and more distant relatives.
You seem to forget that there are different cultures. You may be speaking of the ones in lower Chicago in that pitiful state of affairs. The ones I am familiar with do indeed have he father as the head of the family. You must be speaking of the Woke society.
Hate to break it to you, but the only people in our society who understand the culture of Woke are the Woke themselves.
Your statement is simply wrong. So, is the mom in charge in your circles? Creepy. Those poor children. And that poor limp husband. Hey Marauder, where are you going to source our next need of soldiers, ....men, don't you know?

Unless it directly relates to Joe Biden, it's NOMFB or your FB unless there is sufficient evidence of some illegal activity - "sufficient" being enough to likely convince a jury beyond a reasonable doubt.

Got any of that?

BTW I'm not seeing any relevance to these granddaughter statements. Please elaborate.
my bad...it was THREE grandchildren...

"Yet we’re still left with a motley collection of odd and unsavory figures sending a lot of money through a lot of companies to a lot of members of the Biden family, with little explanation why. Comer contends that bank records confirm more than $10 million in payments, run through at least 20 businesses, mostly limited liability companies, to the president’s son Hunter Biden; the president’s brother, James Biden; James’s wife, Sara Jones Biden; Hallie Biden (widow of Joe Biden’s son Beau, who died in 2015); Hunter’s ex-wife, Kathleen Buhle; Hunter’s current wife, Melissa Cohen; and, as Comer noted, “three children of the president’s son and the president’s brother.”

what did they do to EARN these millions?

I will determine what is MY BUSINESS shytweasel

The majority of Americans believe biden is corrupt...you are in the MINORITY

I think Mott's grandaughter reference is to the bastird (sorry) child of Hunter which Biden was told by his handlers to recognize at their convenience, when the time was right. In fairness, he prob does not even understand that he has a grandaughter.

NO, his grandchildren were receiving foreign money too. But not the one he refused to claim, the biden outcast

Postscript: Hey.......if a father of a family has a lot of money or the ability to direct a lot of money to his kids, trust me, Marauder, he does indeed qualify as a Patriarch....ask the kids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jesus. You need to pick it up, we may lose our audience.

Can you do another thread on grandaughters, I am trying to fit Marauder into a hot-seat, and we don't want him seguing or covering us with links.

Your "culture" is laughably out of date.

The Bidens aren't Amish; a son who graduated from Yale Law School is not under his father's wing in the modern United States.

If that's the best you can come up i.e. that Joe Biden is somehow responsible for the acts of members of his family based on outmoded ideas about "patriarchy" that have no basis in modern law - than you are even more pitiful than I thought.

Law? Who is writing about Law? Just the other day I wrote about the 'aliens among us ' (did not say illegal, nor did I say Migrant)....and sokmebody responded writing about Illegal migrants. That had absolutely nothing to do with the subject, the issue. I wasn't even writing about the border. Aliens among us.
So you are now doing the same thing, right in this post. You write, Amish, Yale and responsiblity for acts of a family. I simply have stated when a responsible normal american family is growing, the father is in charge. I think I need not expound any more on that. Yes, it is not that way across the board, but we are speaking particularly about a family with millions of dollars. You can dam bet someone is in charge of it, and try to tell me it is momma. It is daddy.
So we are back to square one. I truly believe my posts are much easier to understand than are yours. I, myself, do not understand your post. If the son of a rich father graduates Yale, I think daddy is a big part of his life. Prob money has something to do with it!!

LMAO! Well, Joe, in case it has slipped your "mind" (if you can call something so little used that), this matter is all about LAW, not about the petty gossip and/or odd ideas about "patriarchy" as you now seem to think.

Basically, you need to show A) Some illegal misconduct by SOMEBODY with the last name "Biden"; AND

B) A direct link between that illegal misconduct and President Biden.

So far, there's been a lot of innuendo thrown around, but right wingers haven't even made a case for A, never mind B.

No, the father isn't in charge of his grown adult children in any normal type of family anymore; they are in charge of themselves. I can't believe that this is what you are ultimately hanging your entire argument on; it's sad and pathetic.

I mean hell I don't know - maybe when Joe and Mott were in their forties, their daddys were still telling them what to do and managing their finances - along with their uncles ,aunts and cousins.

I'm just saying to you guys - that ain't normal.

So here comes a liberal changing th narrative. First, this thread has nothing to do with 'the law'. It is the makeup of a family with family money. And, I am sorry, I am the one who set this issue, and it is INDEED about patriarchy..., gossip or odd ideas notwithstanding. Ha, you say this issue is 'all about LAW", What in the hell??
And then you segue, telling me that I need to link illegal misconduct and President Biden? How so? What has that to do with this simple issue? Ha, you keep asking for us to show the illegality. Can't show it right now, boss, so let it rest. This is another issue.
I never said he is in charge of his adult children. You always rewrite the sentences of others. I said the Patriarch is in charge when there is money involved. If you watch a rerun of Gunsmoke, the family around the table with the cookie jar of savings, the daddy is the patriarch, for god sakes. What in the hell are you trying to prove? It is flying right over our heads.
The family is in charge of themselves????. You said that, which is beyond BS, regardless of age, when the money is flowing from Dad. What in the hell>>>>>>!!?!?!?!?
I hereby hang my entire argument on this. Even Suzianne will agree with me, she writes about money all the time. Tell him, Suzianne!!!!

LMAO! "Gunsmoke"?

At least "Bonanza" had some adult sons though none of them had degrees from Yale Law School and had worked in a top flight law firm. Nor did Ben Cartwright have a brother who had been running his own businesses for decades.

But hey why not "Little House on the Prarie" for your idiot analogy?

What makes you think it is any of your business how other people make their living, Gladys Kravitz?

Unless there's substantial evidence of illegality - which there isn't - it's none of your business.
