You hit upon some sensitive issues here and your charges are correct. But if we look at the history of the US since WWII,
you will see that the Us has been involved in many wars/invasions that were not really justified, going back
to the invasion of the Korean Peninsula. It's all for the betterment of the wealthy Military Industrial Complex.
Case in point: retooling after the withdrawal from Afghanistan.

I think this was planned so that the military can order more equipment. but ther was no real need of this.
The United States now maintains nearly 800 military bases in more than 70 countries.
