Anyone hear of this recent gem from the Supreme Court?
This ruling allows police anywhere in the country to bring out drug
sniffing dogs during any routine traffic stop. What happened to the part about unreasonable search and sezure I thought was in the US constitution?

Sounds good to me. If they have a canine that detects drugs in the car by scent, it doesn't seem like an unreasonable search.

what bothers me is the approachment of a police state. How long will
it be before police dogs will run the beat in your hometown? How long
will it be before you have to present papers to get out of town? How long will it be before it will look like Hitlers Germany?

We've used police dogs for many years, why all the fuss? As far as travel restrictions, etc., you're just making up scary scenarios that have nothing to do with the argument. It's like asking "how long before we have extermination camps"...makes no sense.
