4000 in Cincinnati today. Gratifying to see and certainly good news for Democrats, but also shameful because it's the direct result of Republican efforts to sink or minimize the early vote. How many people drove by really wanting to vote but just don't have that kind of time to wait? Ohio is really close in the polls. Did the Republicans win the state through suppression by design? We'll find out on Tuesday.

By the way, over 800 polling places have been closed in the south since the Republican SCOTUS majority gutted the Voting Rights Act.

Is it really that hard to add a few extra people and increase the through put? It always amazes me that even in highly developed countries people still haven't solved the queue problem unless there is money to be made.
But as you say, this particular instance is almost certainly politically motivated.
