Curiosity question:
I understand that there is a DOJ opinion that a sitting President ought not be (cannot be?) indicted, but that there is no settled law on the question – no Constitutional provisions, no judicial rulings.
Maybe I’m wrong – and ill-informed – but I’d be interested in hearing opinions, especially from those who have some legal expertise.
If this has been covered before, please just direct me to the proper thread.
