I never said they were no threat, just that Iran has proved for a long time that they are radicals and never stopped being a threat to everyone not like them, vrs. a hermit kingdom wanting to be left alone. If Nk fires nukes it would be in a ww3 type situation their superpower neighbors won’t allow this.

If China didn’t want them to have nukes they never would have even got close to finishing them.

There are three reasons that North Korea will likely use nuclear weapons first if war erupts on the Korean peninsula: Operationally, Pyongyang will face an intense “use-it-or-lose-it” dilemma regarding its weapons of mass destruction as soon as a war starts. Strategically, its conventional military is quite inferior to the forces ranged against it. And grand strategically, any serious conflict between the two Koreas will quickly become existential for the North.

NK may not like us, but Dear Leader doesn't sponsor terrorism around the world and doesn't constantly agitate about us as the Great Satan.

As long as we leave them along, they're probably not a threat.

Of course, if the day ever comes that they seriously start threatening to invade South Korea, or if they use their proxies to blow stuff up in SK or Japan, it will be a very different story.
