Iraq has always been rolling in money. Just look at all the mansions Saddam constructed and truck loads of gold being smuggled out of the country when the US invaded. It is well positioned no matter the government to be a lean, mean, money making machine. It is all a question of where this money gets diverted to...or I should say, whose bank accounts?
