The only thing debatable about the miracle, all purpose, aesthetically pleasing and infinitely practical duct tape is how many uses remain to be discovered. My computer is made from duct tape. Well, not all of it, the CPU is made from a silicone based tape.

Well, I hesitate to use the word "goodness" because of moral implications. I have no doubt that duct tape is used for both moral and immoral purposes. But I will say that duct tape's "uses" are only limited by human creativity. If human creativity is infinite, then the uses of duct tape are infinite. When no new uses for duct tape are found we will know we have reached the end of human creativity and therefore the end of the species is not far in the future. Think of duct tape as our most important early warning system.

Any truth in the rumour that you stuck some small pieces of tape on the soles of your shoes, so you could go Duct Tape dancing ?🙂

That was actually Gene Kelly when they filmed the "Singing in the Rain" scene. The duct tape kept his soles from getting soggy and heavy.

Nope it can't be true, didn't you see the latest VW Golf advert? Gene Kelly is slipping around all over the place, no they must have used another product ..... dare I say it .................. Sellotape

LOL! Sellotape!!!! For shame, for shame! I bet the ad is made from the out takes. I bet they used Sellotape first and, of course, it didn't work. And then they filmed the scene again using duct tape and, of course, it did work. Duct tape always works.

Yes, I am. Though his sole was later filleted and auctioned off at a Gene Kelly benefit for homeless fish. However, filleting of sole aside, it is such sole saving qualities that have generated such a religious devotion to duct tape through the years.

I was strolling down memory lane.....remembering my dancing days in the harem when duct tape had its uses.......ooops. Not a debate.😳

I was debating starting a thread I the spirituality thread about duct tape and its spiritual symbolism or just join the discussion in "Fun with analagies".......hmmmm

I found three sites that explain how to make roses out of duct tape...😏
