A new poll indicates that faith in government is a thing of yesterday. The CDC was the last government agency to have had high marks, but after botching the recent Ebola cases it to has lost about half its appeal.

Every day it seems there is a new scandal coming out of Washington. It is either Veterans who are left to die on secret lists or prostitution rings with the secret service or conservatives being targeted by the IRS. I suppose it would not be as concerning if there seemed to be resolution. Sure, Obama gets on TV and says he is outraged by what the IRS did, but it seems to continue. Sure, Congress passes some laws to help "fix" the problems in the VA, but you still continue to hear of stories of veterans who are not be cared for in a timely manner. Polls seem to bear this out as the VA now has low scores when it comes to trust.

So what does this say about the future of the Republic, if anything?

I suppose this means we need more people stealing money and going back to the glorious days of slavery and freedom.

No, we much prefer the world today where Middle Eastern countries are attacked one by one as deficits balloon destroying our financial future and the unborn are killed by the millions.

What can I say, we have evolved. Them there progressives are sooo much more morally superior it's frightening!! 😲

Yes...we know Whodey, and if all that is not bad enough:

1. Large orange frogs are invading Cleveland, officials fear the worst

2. The Freemasons are plotting to take over the world

3. Elvis was spotted in a spacecraft flying past Mars

4. Batman has joined the Islamic Jihad

5. And worst of all...the Mayan calander was misread, the end of the world will be Dec 21st, 2014 (I promise!)😴

Morpheus: That you are a slave, Neo. Like everyone else, you were born into bondage, born inside a prison that you cannot smell, taste, or touch. A prison for your mind. (long pause, sighs) Unfortunately, no one can be told what the Matrix is. You have to see it for yourself. This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back.
(In his left hand, Morpheus shows a blue pill.)

Morpheus: You take the blue pill and the story ends. You wake in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. (a red pill is shown in his other hand) You take the red pill and you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes. (Long pause; Neo begins to reach for the red pill) Remember -- all I am offering is the truth, nothing more.

State worshipers snatch the blue pill every time.

Perhaps the fact that we have seen millions voting themselves into complete dependence on a tyrant has made our generation understand that to choose one's government is not necessarily to secure freedom.

Why do the people humiliate themselves by voting? I didn't vote because I have dignity. If I had closed my nose and voted for one of them, I would spit on my own face.
