Yes, Joe Biden is old. He had a bad debate. Panic is apparently running through some of the pros in the Democratic party.

But I took a look at the polling aggregates from June 27 (BeforeDebate) and now (2Weeksafter Debate) and found this:

538: BD: Trump 41.1% Biden 40.9% RFK, Jr. 9.1%
2D: Trump 42.4% Biden 40.2% RFK, Jr, 9.2%

Real Clear Politics: BD: Trump 42.3% Biden 39.7% RFK, Jr. 7.2% Others 2.7%
2D: Trump 42.8% Biden 38.3% RFK, Jr. 9.6% Others 3.6%

https://www.realclearpolling.com/polls/president/general/2024/trump-vs-biden-vs-kennedy-vs-west-vs-stein

Those are pretty small shifts and RCP is showing any losses by Biden are going overwhelmingly to third party and minor candidates. Polling history tells us those candidates will eventually get a much smaller share than what polls give them months before an election and IF most of their vote is disaffected Democrats or Democrat leaners as those results suggest, it seems likely Biden (assuming he is still in) will eventually primarily benefit when these voters decide a vote for someone besides the big money parties is "wasted".

In short, the idea that Biden now can't possibly win that is being mercilessly played out by the pundits and media seems to have little support in the data (such that it is).

Do you expect democrats to support Trump?

I know you like to call Kennedy names, but that is because you cannot prove any of the rumors you heard are true. You reject Kennedy.....because you heard a rumor.

About half of democrats were ready to throw Biden under the bus if they could, then when Biden refused to stop running they supported him again. They are not going to support Trump and they are too busy calling Kennedy names to prove anything.

It is like high school. People refuse to grow up.

The elephant which you have put out in the shed is that he is NO person (try to look at him one on one, not as a political pawn,,,that would be nice) that should be in charge of the MULTI-FACETED office of President.

He is daft, and you are daft, among other things. All of this is so dam ridiculous.

Nobody who is going to vote democrat, is going to vote trump, no matter how senial Biden is.

It’s the swing voters (how can that even be a thing, just listening to trump makes one’s brain fart in desperation) that folk are worried about.

On one hand… if they do sit on the fence, let them suffer the consequences!

That rather absurd exaggeration seems to be the only argument to return to the Presidency an individual who ran it with gross incompetence, corruption and chaos.

I don't think it's going to work.

More like economic downturn after inheriting a booming economy, mishandling of a public health crisis, mass corruption of officials including his family and kissing the ass of tyrant after tyrant.

Why do you think the American People tossed him aside? Something the spoiled rich kid couldn't accept like an adult.

Was it incompetent that many famiies realized a $6000 increase in annual salary,,,,,and a lot of other gifts from the donald. I wonder if our chiuldren will ever know 1.4% inflation. Na, I dont think even Trump can clean up the horror of Biden. Are you are aware of the border and all of its misery? Are you aware of the SAVE act, which repubs are pushing to keep the illegals the hell out of voting booths........................but that 198 Dems voted against. Can you tell us why, since you know so much with your LexNex?
Have you ever commented on Hillary having illegally tried to deep-six Trump with the fake dossier? Have you ? What do you think about it? You like democrats, do you? And I have to pound all this out when I should be playing golf? I feel I have a duty to do so.
Did I mention the horrible dems who want illegals to vote. Was it you, or Moonbus, who said a few months ago that that would not happen? Was that a lie? And why IS it happening? Why do they want illegals to vote? YOu know, but you will not answer. I say 'he will not answer' a lot, and you are not an exception.
Do you know that an 'undocumented' person, when he gets a driver license, becomes documented merely by receiving (being issued) the license? Do you know how 'close' that is to being able to register to vote?
Do you want these unknowns to be able to vote???
Either you or Shav said a while back (Shav I think) that if a person lives somewhere, that he should be able to vote in a local election, since he would be affected. Query, Mr LexNex.....One has to have a right to do that. Who bestows the right? Just because he lives there, he has a right? What if he lives in a gutter or in the park? Tell us how you would distinguish.
So many questions.
