You are a poor beggar, an outcast of society, and you are starving to death. Luckily an extremly fat man walks by with a huge cake in his hands. Is it ok for you to steal the cake? (if you don't your going to die😀)

If I use LOTC logic, I consult my feelings first. Since those feelings cannot be guessed at until I find myself in the situation you're talking about, I have to answer that I don't know.

Yes it is ok. According to my opinion.

Rich foods such as cake to a starving man would be of little
nutritional benefit and would be more likely to cause illness
than promote health. You'd be better off helping him carry
the cake and asking for scraps.

Cake wouldn't do much for the aftermath of a Tennant's binge.

So you would die instead of stealing the cake?

OK, right or wrong doesn't really enter into it, stealing the cake is an existential choice, and I would steal it.

As the extremely fat man is at present in possession of said
cake, wouldn't this be a cake-jacking? Or cake-snatching? (there's
nothing better than a snatched cake).

Answer: No. I would just throw a brick thru a jewery store window and
wait for the police - sort of a bed and breakfast idea.
Besides I ain't "got milk".

Even the fat man can not have his cake and eat it.

the fat man could give the foil wrapper to the beggar - probably has more use for the tin foil wrapper.

What happened to the fat "American"? Prejudism make you feel guilty?
