@Cliff-Mashburn saidYou tool. You gullible tool.
Find one person that is now paying double for their health insurance now and get back to us.
@sonhouse saidIsn't Jasmine Crockett running for Senate in Texas?
You can google it and see me live, well just a few months ago🙂 the show was called Guns, because the play date in 1980, just a few months back now🙂 was to play on St. Patrick day so they had the writers do an IRA gun running episode and we played opening stuff, music in the middle and music ending and my wife was the manager of Southwind ATT and got Lou Grant to put the na ...[text shortened]... xas, Red, blue, Purple areas combined, not some Elon Musk kind of single donor like Trump sucked up.
I'll look up that episode.

@Suzianne saidIf you do, there is a 'bar scene' where my wife knew of an Irish dance school in Santa Monica and got two teenage Irish dancers to 'spontaneously' do some Irish dancing and when you get a glimpse of the band I am the goofy one playing guitar🙂

Yes, she is but State Rep. James Talarico is the one with the dough now running for US Senate also. That is in a couple of months.
BTW, For new year I wrote you a tune, "Red Hot Suzianne" and since I don't have a photo I made a bit of an in joke by taking a closeup of the board showing the pawn with smoke coming out. If you want to DM me your email and a photo I will put it up on Sound cloud, if not, that's ok too. Just thinking about all our additions to RHP forums.
@no1marauder saidWell. yes, I would say that having higher taxes does not 'stop an area from having high-paying jobs." When I pay an employee. I offer/pay him what he is worth to me,...he then considers his cost of living and decides if he wants the job. His taxes are between him and the tax office, I am busy running my business.
Gee, so having higher taxes doesn't stop an area from having a slew of high paying jobs!
Kinda deflates your whole "all the rich folks will move if taxes get raised" theory, doesn't it?
However, to complete this point, which you never do,,,,,,,,if it occurs to me that employees want raises from me, more money, due to their having to pay more in taxes, I will take my firm and LEAVE NYC (in this case) and take my business to a more tax-friendly location. Which may happen in NYC since the communist governent will give businesses no choice.

@Suzianne saidObama the best, esp with his daring line-in-the-sand, closely followed by Biden, a steely stare, looking into the camera, saying,,,,with a haunting pause....".......................DON'T.............
Awesome?
Tell that to people paying OTA at the grocery store, and paying double for their health insurance now.
Obama was the best pres since Kennedy. Trump is a fool, elected by fools.
Ahhhh, character studies on the Forum.
Can't you just see the vile Jill Biden today, saying,,,,'Oh, Joe, should have bombed the hell out of them!' She prob has a crush on Trump.
@Earl-of-Trumps saidif you kept drinking water instead of stopping, you would drown.
If you took collectiveism to its ends, you'd have Cuba.
Why is it again, that we teach history?

@Suzianne saidIn one of those on the street interviews, a woman asked a question regarding the issue of the economy, she said she can hardly buy groceries for her family. When I asked how many were in her family , she has four kids. The guy said, have you not heard AvJoe say to not have more kids than you can afford,?? Or should the guy have told her where she can find some free money. I just do not get you libs. Somebody else’s fault.??? Who’s fault when one does not plan well?

@Zahlanzi saidYou disagree? Answer this post please, you sound like Susy. She is the only one allowed silliness. So, what caused Cuba to be like it is?
if you kept drinking water instead of stopping, you would drown.
Can you people not share ideas? Not changing minds. Just seeing how each side arrives at their opinions..
@AverageJoe1 saidSpoken like the true sociopath with zero empathy, just like all your other so called posts.

@sonhouse saidThis is a post of fact. I suggest you do a thread on an empathetic discussion of folks who live outside their means, and how it might should be dealt with as we register our concerns about that. I have always said to pay for all of the care of the 50 million destitute people …..beyond that the discussion will go into where you draw the line for people who create huge problems for themselves.

Could this not be a reasonable approach, or shall you just cast aspersions??
@AverageJoe1 saiddo i have to explain obvious crap to you idiots every time? can't i just skip a few ?

So give us a four liner on Cuba. We think they are a pitiful state. We consider them a pitiful state, a total failure, what say you?

@AverageJoe1 saidWhat you're looking at is the whiplash response to the right wing dabbling in fascism.
How about this. And he did say at Inauguration he would replace ‘Rugged (what a fairy) Individualism with Collectivism.”
Can one of you tell us ….Collect WHAT from WHOM?!
Then get this. Take over production, what, your cell phones and your treasured 3-D glasses?🤣😆🤣
“””Yes, Zohran Mamdani, a socialist candidate for NYC Mayor, has identified "seizing the means of ...[text shortened]... th Mamdani viewing universal access to essentials as key to success, not just fairness””.
😂again
Hopefully at some point we snap out of it. But Mamdani's ideas, rhetoric and demeanor at this stage are way, way better than the corrupt MAGA fascists.
It's too early, but Obama vibes at that inauguration.

RE: the question in subject
For now I'll say yes, because for me the fate of Taiwan is a more pressing concern.
@AverageJoe1 saidBut you are ok with the doubling of ACA premiums.
