Hopefully at some point we snap out of it. But Mamdani's ideas, rhetoric and demeanor at this stage are way, way better than the corrupt MAGA fascists.

Fascism is characterized by nationalism, a strong centralized government, militarism, economic control, scapegoating immigrants, and state targeting of minority groups as internal threats.

I've also heard the academics describe it as "palingenetic ultranationalism" which is fancy speak for "MAKE MY COUNTRY GREAT AGAIN"

Do you think Maduro should have been allowed to do all that he has been doing for the next 40 years or so.? Or, do you think 'somethng should be done' about this dangerous neighboring country?
