Has anybody heard that the US sank a North Korean ship filled with uranium that was bound for Iran?

If this story is true, where is it in regards to the media? Are we being censored? Are we being misled in terms of the severity of the situation? Are we being lulled into sleep with the hopes of not generating panic? Is it really possible to avoid war with Iran?
Originally posted by whodeyI can't open the link. But I hadn't heard about this.

Here's a supposed "cover up" article of the event:

Here's some more info:

Overall, it smells like a fake.

Sinking outbound North Korean ships is just common sense. It's not like they have anything good to export.
In 1980 I was in a B-52, flying along the border between North and South Korea. They tried to meacon us into crossing over their national boundary by overpowering the South Koreans radio control signals and giving us false directions, so they could shoot us down and create an international scandal. Buncha jerks.
They haven't changed.

Were/are you in the US Air Force? I have a buddy in the Air Force right now, and he is currently on like his 8th trip to Iraq. He pilots the big refuling jets (c-130? something like that) he says people on the ground continually fire their machine guns at him in spite of the fact he is thousands of feet out of range. More jerks i guess...

I got out in 1982.
