Actually, I think that top cartoon sums up the Danish cartoon controversy perfectly.

How do you expect to get gang members to your school and then keep them there without the school getting shot up or somebody shanked with a pencil?

You suggesting putting funds into the community suggests you intuitively recognize that poverty is the problem.

why increase funding?

when biologists want to encourage micro-organisms to produce desirable outputs, they stress the organisms through hunger, pollution, etc.

when are we going to see the productivity gains in the public sector that we've seen in the private sector since the introduction of computers?

how would funding fix the problem in your paragraph 1?

unless it's funding of mandatory boarding schools for underperformers? maybe a 6-week course? with refreshers every year, 3rd or 4th grade to 12th?

so you're saying the same rule should apply to poor people?

aren't they already stressed through hunger and pollution?

why are the lefties still believe that the false theory that "everyone is equal"?

what makes you think this is "left-wing"? do you even know what being "left-wing" means?

how is it a false theory?

I do not see any African civilization that has ever flourished.

well, considering most african countries were victims of european imperialism, africa's poverty isn't surprising.

nevertheless, what about the egyptians?

multiculturalism might not been the problem for everything, but it's gonna be a bigger problem in the future

if only you had any evidence of this...

This is called an "invasion" as I can recall.

an invasion is "military action consisting of armed forces of one geopolitical entity entering territory controlled by another such entity, generally with the objective of conquering territory or altering the established government."

if you really think immigration is the same as invasion you must have some serious mental problem.

what?

I was referring to imperialism as a reason why africa is poor (you mentioned something about africa's poverty previously), but tell me, do you think the invention of wheels is the right criterion to measure whether a civilization is successful?
