Here is proof of disorderly conduct. Ray Epps Hurled Massive Trump Sign at Police on Jan. 6

Epps had told the FBI he trespassed on Capitol grounds and admitted that he told people to go to the Capitol and try to enter it. He told people to go to the Capitol and try to enter it. That is trespassing on Capitol grounds and Seditious conspiracy.
Ray Epps committed three crimes. Disorderly conduct, trespassing on Capitol grounds and seditious conspiracy. Epps has never faced criminal charges in the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. Epps said he was going to be charged after he sued Fox News for defamation, but he was not charged. And how would he know he was going to be charged ahead of time anyway? Did other Jan 6 protesters get a warning call they would be charged ahead of time? Isn't Ray so special? He gets special treatment from the FBI.
The FBI put Ray Epps on their FBI wanted list before removing him from it. Isn't he so special? Is that because the CIA told the FBI to remove their guy or is it because the FBI is compartmentalized and the FBI wanted list is compiled by less informed FBI workers?
Is Epps an FBI or CIA agent?
@metal-brain saidActually, he was charged with exactly what he did:
Only disorderly conduct?
https://en-volve.com/2023/09/19/breaking-ray-epps-charged-nearly-three-years-after-january-6th-unrest/
He trespassed on Capitol grounds. No charges for that.
He is guilty of seditious conspiracy. No charges for that.
"On or about January 6, 2021, within the District of Columbia, JAMES RAY EPPS, SR.
did knowingly, and with intent to impede and disrupt the orderly conduct of Government business and official functions, engage in disorderly and disruptive conduct in and within such proximity to, a restricted building and grounds—that is, any posted, cordoned-off, and otherwise restricted area within the United States Capitol and its grounds, where the Vice President was and would be temporarily visiting—when and so that such conduct did in fact impede and disrupt the orderly
conduct of Government business and official functions, and attempted and conspired to do so."

It's a combination of disorderly conduct and trespassing. There's zero evidence of "seditious conspiracy" in Epps' case.
"In videos shared widely on social media and right-wing websites, Epps is seen the day before the riot saying, “Tomorrow, we need to go into the Capitol ... peacefully.” On Jan. 6, video shows him saying, “As soon as the president is done speaking, we go to the Capitol.” Epps has said he left Capitol grounds when he saw people scaling walls and never actually went inside the building.
“Mr. Epps exhorted other supporters of President Trump to be peaceful on January 6 at the Capitol, and outside he repeatedly acted in support of officers to try to deescalate actions,” his attorney, Ungvarsky, said."
"Assistant U.S. Attorney Michael Gordon said during the hearing that “Epps was not ... a confidential source for the FBI or any other law enforcement agency.”

I don't think you know what seditious conspiracy means. He told people to illegally enter the capitol building to encourage an insurrection. That is seditious conspiracy.
Enrique Tarrio was sentenced to twenty-two years in prison on seditious conspiracy charges despite not even being present at the Capitol on January 6th.
@metal-brain saidI know exactly what seditious conspiracy is. Maybe you should read the statute: https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/2384

Who did Epps "conspire" with?
Tarrio was shown, beyond a reasonable doubt, to have conspired with and actually direct the Proud Boys (an organization he was the head of) to assault the Capitol in an attempt to stop the EC certification.
@no1marauder saidThere's plenty of reasonable doubt about the 'conspired' aspect. Not one mention of the goal of the mystery plan has been found or presented, as far as directing he spoke to one PB and said 'don't f***en leave' and this, on the day.

Apparently you don't know what assault means either.
And what about Richard Barnett? He was not violent at all, but still got over 4 years in prison. Epps told people like Richard Barnett to go into the capitol. Epps is guilty of seditious conspiracy. He directed people to do illegal things just like Tarrio did.
Why are you defending Epps? Do you like what he did? And why don't you want him to be charged with trespassing? You know he is guilty of it. Have you gotten soft for Trump supporters or do you like that he got a lot of people thrown in prison for listening to him? Some of those people that listened to him might have assaulted people in the capitol building.
You must secretly like him because you believe he is a fed sent to make Trump look bad so you want him to be exempt for his crimes. You think the ends justify the means.

The jury, who saw all the evidence and don't have the ideological axe to grind that you do, found Tarrio, Biggs and others guilty of seditious conspiracy beyond a reasonable doubt as required by law.
@metal-brain saidThe charge encompasses trespassing, you pathetic idiot. What do you think "restricted building and grounds" means?

@metal-brain saidBarnett probably shouldn't have brought a dangerous weapon into the Capitol or stolen government property. https://www.5newsonline.com/article/news/crime/richard-barnett-guilty-capitol-riot-jan-6th/527-732c7e8b-3b3a-4bb2-8e84-32910a901b7e

@no1marauder saidYou're not saying anything when you say the jury said 'x'. It doesn't mean anything, no one is arguing what the jury result was. Plenty of juries have got it wrong and it wouldn't be hard to assemble a jury with, let's say, certain leanings.
We've been over your Dream World scenarios.

All you're left with is the jury saw something you didn't because you haven't managed to post anything here that indicates conspiring to stop the EC certification, nothing.
You're the one with dream world scenarios, scenarios that I've asked over and over to be explained, but you know what, the minute you or others try to play them out they become more and more preposterous as you try to explain away inconsistencies and they're abandoned.
@shavixmir saidThe Pseud Known as Shag Doody for Brains adds nothing, please refrain from trying, it's embarrassing to you. You've been told before, stick to the single ijit emoji responses.
Good grief.
