Is the Coronavirus going away?

It certainly appears the virus is going away during the month of May. If this trend continues, what is your explanation?
Could you define "going away" for me? May1st 1.1 Million cases, May 26th 1.7 Million cases...

The number of daily deaths.

Nobody really cares about who catches a virus, it only matters how many dies, well this year. Usually nobody cares about how many die.

Yup.
And in the process, latest model predicts 160,000 to 240,000 deaths by end August.
It's going away alright.
160k to 240k seems a bit far fetched at this point. No amount of Democrat death inflation will get those numbers by August.

Today's total 774. This is a Tueday so not a weekend count. I figured it would be higher bases on Monday being Memorial day, but no a total well below 1000.

Last three days death totals...

617, 505 and 774

Definitely appears that Summer is driving this thing away in the US.

@Eladar
So how well did THAT prediction turn out, eh?

Very well, the numbers are dropping inspite of nobody following social distancing anymore lol.

@Eladar
You are consistently blind, the numbers are going up and you can't see it. Also just wait till the shyte hits the fan in a month or so and see how well you stupid predictions are headed.

A thousand a day means, uh, let’s see... 30 days in June, 31 days in July.... so 61x 1.000 =

And how many deaths so far (and this has been achieved by a certain amount of lockdown)? Oh... 103.000, give or take...

I pretty much assume that 160k+ is very much in the ball park.

Indeed, considering the deterioration of measures in the US at the moment, one could expect a jump in numbers the coming weeks.

But, hey, it’s Summer. Corona has magically disappeared.

You’ve been saying that since March.

It started at over 2k a day on average, now it is more like 1k, 200 fewer deaths each week. So yeah since May.

Not March moron.lol

Check out the date I started this thread.

Lol, as if that is even close to pandemic numbers. That can't be correct. Those numbers are much closer to seasonal flu numbers and those go away by June.

If they want 160k, then they are going to have to improve their might be covid numbers.
The 160 k will be reached early in Augist regardsless of what happens on the Fighting the Virus fromt.
