Well, it's just good manners. If someone dyes their hair blonde it's kind of rude to point out every chance you get "you're not a real blonde". They feel better as a blonde, happier. Agreeing they are blonde is a minimum effort on everyone's part.
I understand your stance to be "I have nothing against them,but just so where clear, they're not real women"? Better than the ones trying to control children genitals, by a lot, surely. Yet this sort of apathetic non-aggression pact (for lack of a better analogy) is still harmful. Why not accept them?
I wanted to point out being transgender is pretty much being an immigrant and changing one's citizenship. One left the citizenship one was born with behind and now identifies as the new one. Happier for it.
But the same ones that want to kick trans women out of women's bathrooms and check the genitals of young children applying for sports are often the same asholes screaming at immigrants that they aren't real americans. And they should go back to where they came from.

It is actually. And psychiatrists say that there are non-binary genders, that gender is fluid and it depends on one's perception of one self. And that it definitely exists.
